On this long storm the Rainbow rose
On this long storm the Rainbow rose --
On this late Morn -- the Sun --
The clouds -- like listless Elephants --
Horizons -- straggled down --
The Birds rose smiling, in their nests --
The gales -- indeed -- were done --
Alas, how heedless were the eyes --
On whom the summer shone!
The quiet nonchalance of death --
No Daybreak -- can bestir --
The slow -- Archangel's syllables
Must awaken her!

Daily Snaps
Today's daily snap was from this morning. I was on my way to an appointment when I saw this rainbow. I immediately put the vehicle in reverse and drove backwards towards the house. I ran into the house and quickly collected the camera. I was so excited to have seen such a big and clear rainbow but at the same time I knew this moment could disappear as quickly as I noticed it. Lucky for me it decided to stay around a few minutes. Here are a couple of rainbow pictures from Chibana Military Family Housing on Kadena AFB, Okinawa. I guess the saying "the early bird gets the worm" is very true.
The photographs above are all "SOOC" straight out of camera. They have not been edited or changed in anyway.

That's awesome! Those are probably the most perfect rainbow pics I have seen! Too bad the housing is in the way!
Wow!!!
