Daily Snap-

Today's daily snap is a SOOC (straight out of camera) photograph of Little flowers amoungst the flowers. The children walking thru the sunflower field reminded me of colorful flowers sprinkled out in the field. I really wish I had stayed and waited for a better opportunity but Milk Monster had other plans than watching the sunflowers any longer. 

I plan on going back and doing Typhoon Trio's monthly session there. I LOVE sunflowers more than any other flower. I always had a fascination for them but that grew when we lived in North Dakota for 8 years. Now if you want to see a field of sunflowers that's the place to do it. It looks like an ocean of sunflowers for as far as the eye can see. If you love sunflowers I hope that you'll get a chance to go see them too.

Directions To Sunflower Field-

From Kadena AB Area

Go south on 58.  Turn left onto 130 just before Camp Foster.  Turn right onto 330.  Turn left onto 81.  Turn right at the 2nd stoplight onto 146 (toward Nakagusuku Castle).  Cross a small bridge, and make a hard left.  Turn right at the 2nd right turn.  Look for the bright yellow sunflower fields.  There is nearby parking along the road. If you get to Nakagusku Castle you went too far.

Today's photographs are of Miss "R"! We had a lot of fun doing this month's "Child's Play" theme. My goal is to do a "Child's Play" theme monthly with Typhoon Trio. It's for us to have fun and to push my own creativity. I don't want to be like the shoemaker who is always too busy making shoes for other people to make a pair for his own child. In other words, we often get so tied up in our work and providing for others that we forget to take care of our own children. I want to have great photographs of my children too just like my clients want of their own children.

The above photograph is a part of a larger photograph I'm designing. This year I am going to design and style a set to take photographs of  Typhoon Trio. I'm really excited because I love working with other medias also. I love to draw but with the birth of the twins and then Milk Monster I moved away from drawing and took up Photography. I thought at least I'll have all my photographs to ref back to later on in life when Typhoon Trio are older. So here's a small look into my project =)
