Okinawa Natural Light Newborn Photographer- a link

A babe in a house
is a well-spring of pleasure,
a messenger of peace and love,
a resting place for innocence on earth,
a link between angels and men.

Okinawa Natural Light Newborn Photographer- you're one of us now

As an egg, you were a beauty
but now you're a really cutie
and we brought you to our valley somehow
Though ya look like you
we think you'll like us too
'cause we're a family and you're one of us now
We're a family and you're one of us now
We're a family and you're one of us now
Though you look like you
we think you'll like us too
'cause we're a family and you're one of us now
- song lyrics from The Land Before Time

The Beautiful World
(english translation)

Up, up above
Birds fly in the sky

Down, down
Flowers on earth

Upland, upland
The grove of trees

In the sea, the sea
The fishes of the ocean

Tell the refrain
Of this beautiful world

In honor of the children

Okinawa Maternity Photographer - Nakagusuku- life

Love is life...
And if you miss love, you miss life.
Leo Buscaglia

There are no words to express how much love you felt being around this family. I had so much fun just being there with them. The session was  fun too because the family was open to the concept of a picnic in the field. It was also a real honor to have a fellow photographer, such as Angie, commission me for a session. After the session, I had the hardest time culling the digital images. I would have kept them all but it took me forever to edit the pictures that didn't end up on the digital darkroom floor.

Please leave this wonderful family some blog or FB love!

Little K was born that very next day =) Talk about close call right!?!
Keep an eye out for Little K's session coming up soon!!

Okinawa Photographer - Daily Snaps- oh butterfly

Oh butterfly where do you go

Oh butterfly where do you go,

when the sunset itself does show?

I see you quite frequently
when the sun shines overhead,
But where are you when I am put to bed?

The days are long,
the sun is strong.

Still then I see you flutter,
with wings as soft as butter.

Yet when shines the moon,
why am I alone?

I hear not soft wings
beating upon my windowsill,
nor do I see your pupae
upon the miller's mill.

Where do you go at night
when the stars are shining bright?

In the daytime I see you flutter
'round and 'round,
from the sky to the ground.

Oh butterfly where do you go,
when the sunset itself does show
